I am using cst at work during my lunch hour to model a folded dipole antenna, and have a weird problem which I cannot see.

On a folded dipole I created a discrete port, but when I run the transient solver, I get the following error. "The discrete port is inside a perfect conducting solid".

I have double checked this port and can find nothing wrong. Any ideas?

Thanks

if u can send me ur geometry i can see

Most likely -- the background material should be changed to air.

hi,
u should separate two monopole conductor of ur dipole by a small air gap, and create a discrete port along two opposite egdes!
My lab companions have also been dealing with dipole antenna in GHz and THz region!

Regards!
