crystals/sesonators what for mcu?

So far I have used ordinary crystals with capacitors. This time I need something SMD.
I know that this one would work
AVX|PBRC16.00HR50X0RZ|RESONATOR, SMD, 16.00MHZ | Farnell Eesti Vabariik
no need for capacitors either. But would this one work too?:
AEL CRYSTALS|C16M000000S004|RESONATOR, SM, 16MHZ, CV | Farnell Eesti Vabariik
seems like a cheap alternative?

Hi,

Resonators will work fine unless you are doing some extremely critical timings; just be aware that there are two types, the 3 pin ones with capacitors built in, and the 2 pin without. which need them adding in your circuit.
Usually find picking the larger sized smd parts makes for easier assembly if you are hand soldering - trying to solder 0201 or smaller caps is a real pain

Thanks ,I'll buy the cheaper one then. Timing is not very critical.
