Creating a desktop shortcut in Linux OS

Hello all,

I created a Desktop shortcut for one EDA executable using following command
/cxmenu --desktop --name "EDA" --path "/home/tools/EDA/bin/XXX" --link locate.gui.sh

but for second tool if I tried to create the shortcut with different name....
it is overighting or replacing the earlier created shortcut...!!!

pls. help me how to create multiple shortcuts on desktop in linux OS...

what desktop environment or you using?
i'm not familar with cxmenu
