Before you can make a PCB, you need a physical representation of each component, i.e. a footprint. If the footprint of your component doesn't exist in the library (because it's too old or too recent) then you'll have to design the footprint yourself.
For simple 2-layers PCBs Proteus is a best tool that can let you trace and prepare for production in 2-3 hours.
If you want to work with differential pairs, parallel busses you better use Altium Designer. But it need very powerfull PC also.
I prefer to order PCB manufacture. Even for 10pcs it is much easier. Let's say 5x5cm 2 layers board cost only 10$ for 10pcs and 3$ for shipping. PCB has 6th accuracy, resist and silk layer. **broken link removed**
