We are using MSP430F2618 (controller), Embedded Workbench 5.3 Kickstart (IDE) & MSP - FET430UIF (Programing device).

Is there any kind of CRC or checksum for code which is given at compile or program time, which further we can manually verify by calculating at run time.

Previously we had a serious problem regarding programming verification at production, so now we don't want to rely on programmer for verification. What we want is a checksum or CRC displayed to us at a time of compile with which we can release the code and later we want to manually verify it with runtime calculated CRC or Checksum in the device itself.
Same feature is provided by the Microchip in the PIC controllers.
