Course on Embedded system

what all topics would you people suggest should be included in a course on embedded system.

Assuming the course is being designed for a high school passout or a graduating student,

what topics and their sequence you edaboard member would recommend

please classify them in electronicsandprogramming/software
seperately.

also please list subtopics too in detail
