dear friends,

I am new to ASIC design ...
and I was curious about what kind of process should I choose when my RTL design finish(<100K)? can someone give me some suggestion? or tell me where can I get information?
I just want to learn more, thank you for help!!!

have a good time!!!!

.35 .25

When the design is small, You should use .35. because .35 is cheap.
I compare the design between .18 and .25. the die size of the chip will much smaller and the timing is much better. but .18 is much costly!!

for such small design 0.35u will probably be cheaper unless you plan to produce over 50000 chips.

You might also be constrained by clock speed. 0.25um is around 20%-40% faster (higher clock frequency) than 0.35 um. As the other posts have mentioned, costs (especially mask making) are higher at 0.25um
