Lets' assume an ADC exhibits its own quantization noise and phase noise from clock jitter on its spectrum.
In general, the quantization noise is a white noise, and the phase noise from a jitter shows two types of noise: close-in phase noise and white phase noise.
Here is a question, can we set an equation to represent the correlation among those three noises?
From my knowledge, the equation would as follows.
{sigma_total}^2 = {sigma_quantization}^2 + {sigma_closeInPhase}^2 + {sigma_whitePhase}^2
But, I need another equation to describe the correlation between quantization noise and white phase noise in more detail, because those two have spectrally white property.
