Dear All,
I would like to convert IEEE754 single precision number to a 16-bit integer (2's complement representation).
I read that there is a command 'int16', but it is not accepting the hexadecimal string as input argument.
Also, the output 16-bit integer should be represented in hex. For example if the bit representation is '1000100010001010'..then I want it to be represented as '888A'.
I am new to MATLAB. Any help in writing the program will b appreciated.
