Hi...
Has anyone ever controlled the color (NOT BRIGHTNESS) of LEDs with the help of microcontroller
Also is there any LED that can give a complete range of colors from white to black by varrying its input current ????
Thanx
i want to say ....if i give it say 1mA current...it gives red light...if say 5mA it gives yellow...if 10mA it gives orange...if 15mA...it gives green...if 20mA...it gives blue...and so on...???
A single colour LED will always give you only this colour and you can vary its intensity by increasing or decreasing its current ..
If you want to generate several colours you need RGB LEDs and using 3-channel PWM controlled by a microcontroller change intensity of each channel ..
Color of one LED may not be controlled but you can use tri color LEDs housed in one package. these type of things are available. try seaching "TriColor LEDs".
