Hello all,

I in the process of testing a 10.5 GHz antenna (patch). The probe of the SMA to be connected to the feedline based patch is wider than the feedline. Which is affecting my resonant frequency. What should I do?

I am connecting the SMA at the bottom (this approach is better than connecting on top, as evident from S11). The pin is just touching the feedline from bottom, but is wide. Should I taper it?

Thanks for you replies in advance.

No, don't taper the SMA, you can paste-and-try to get better performance.
