Even if you locate an exact replacement socket, you'll have a major hurdle to remove the melted piece from the circuit board. Heating the board might loosen the plastic, but it might also hurt nearby components. It's easy to lift tiny copper traces off the board, breaking connections which may be unfixable.
The metal construction inside the socket could still be whole despite melted plastic. An easy step that could work is to poke a hot needle into each of the 12 topmost openings, in order to clear them and insert the ribbon cable again. Or an extremely tiny drill bit.
