two port sram

Dear all,
I just want to know in general, what's the area difference when two-port SRAM is compared with dual-port SRAM?
In addition, I know all the foundary will provide two-port SRAM, however, will they all provide dual-port SRAM?

Many thanks in advance!

can you clarify the difference?
what does two-port SRAM mean? A single-port SRAM + 2 access arbiter?
if that is so, they won't share any similarity.

two-port has one read port and one write port.
dual-port has two ports that can be configured as read+read, write+write, read+write.

From the structure, two-port SRAM will have a simplifier bit cell.

And by using the Artisen's Memory compiler, I've only see the dual-port SRAM, and two-port RegisterFile (Which is faster and smaller than the SRAM).

So, in my opinion, maybe the general performance of the two structure only see a relatively small difference. so, it is better to provide a dual-port structure.
