hello friends i have made usb-rs232 as mentioned in AVR-CDC what do i have to do for sending the data from tx of device to realterm. i tried by flashing the microcontroller(atmega8) to transmit some text. i connected the tx of flashed microcontroller with that of usb-rs232 device. but i am not getting any data in realterm.

when i just gound the tx pin of usb-rs232 i get some garbage data displayed in realterm. friends, what may be the problem about this. is this problem with my program, or should i have to add some hardware part for doing so.
