I have did a JDM as follow. Can anyone comment on it? Thanks very much. the switch is to switch between 40 and 18 pin PIC.

There is a "P16PRO programmer" for PIC16Cxx microcontrollers by Bojan Dobaj
It's a para-port programmer

It look like yours, but support 8 ,18, 28 & 40 pin.
Maybe yours can support 8 & 28 pin too.
