coaxial cable bandwidth

Hallo there,

I would like to add a low frequency data signal with the video signal in order to have a comunication between a master and a slave. Could I choose the frequencies 50KHz for the "0" and 100KHz for the "1". Is this frequency good for a coaxial cable which drives the video signal simultaneously?

Thank you all.

What kind of video are you talking about? Is it baseband video or is it a TV rf signal? In the case of baseband video you can not use FSK as you intended. Frequencies must be higher tnan 10MHz. In the case of TV rf signal your idea is OK.
