Hi all!

I'm facing a number of problems working with an opamp-involving voltage follower I've made. I wanted to know if there are any high output current voltage follower circuits that do not involve opamps?

Basically yes. Simple complementary voltage followers, either class B or class AB (involving a bias circuit) and a large variety of discrete amplifier circuits with feedback.

Another option is to use an opamp together with a power transistor in a closed loop - thus increasing the output current capabilities.

LvW, could you please elaborate with a schematic?
