HEY GUYS,
I M NEW TO MICROCONTROLLER. ACTUALLY I M CHOOSING A SUITABLE PIC TO DO MY PROJECT. BT I M CONFUSING BEWEEN PIC 16F877 AND PIC 16F877A..
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BET THEM???
OR IZIT THEY R THE SAME?

They're practically the same thing, if you write your code for one of the chips it will work for the other too.

16F877A is just slightly better, the differences are almost negligeble.

If I were you I wouldn't worry much about it ..
After all, you are not migrating from 877 to 877A and the differences are so minor that are probably not worth paying attention ..
Here is document on differences between these two:
PIC16F87X → PIC16F87XA Migration
