Congratulations on your forum. I found it very interesting.
I would like to buy a GSM modem to receive SMS.
I'm torn between:
- Telit GT863-PY
- Siemens TC65 Terminal
I initially use the at-command with a server, but then I'll use Python or Java to program directly on the modem.
honestly I prefer the siemens because I prefer Java, but I want to make you the following questions:
Which one is faster and more stable?
Which processor is mounted on the Telit? I read on siemens ARM7.
there is another modem, the better of the two, to make the receiver of sms? in terms of speed. (always connected to a server with at-command)
