Cheaper data logger than TC-08 for electronics test?

Hello,
We need to monitor 5 thermocouple signals and 3 voltage signals.
The cheapest data logger that we can find to do this is the TC-08 by Pico, at £249.

Can you think of a cheaper one?

Making one would be cheaper. You can buy 5 thermocouple amplifiers and use three voltage dividers to get 8 signals.
