I measured a transient pulse and transformed the signal via fft in its spectrum. The Signal(transient) reaches from 1Hz to 100MHz.
My second step was to characterise the channel (i.e. to determine Gain/Loss of the channel).
It's a high pass channel is it sufficient to suppose that all frequency components lower than -3dB are 'cut-off'? (or -6dB)
And is there a way to determine how the signal will change with the loss of low frequency components?
