Hi!

How do I change the width of the layer when using aoutrout?

/Magnus

You have to select NET or XNET & define the route in constraint manager. I am specifying it for Cadence.

If you are using Specctra autorouter, you can define the same there also. Do let me know if you get that.

Good Luck

Do you mean net width by layer? What autorouter are you using?

You can set the rule in allegro or specctra, I think allegro is fine, because when you back to allegro from specctra, you still can find the rule in allegro.

hi
if in cadstar,u can specify the nets with their optimum widths in schematic state, before going to autorouting. autoroute takes these optimum widths of the respective nets
