CFL - Series resonance application

Hi friends,

I have a few questions...
> I saw document for CFL lamps circuit In that they are discussed about d resonance . Actually, My mind is focused on Why d Resonance is applied/used for this application?
>>and what are the other applications using resonance?(find attachment)

> I got one simple idea to add this one battery in the middle of the ckt--How much voltage shall i choose for the battery ? and related to other parameter of batt.

> I have a 6w x 2nos = My CFL lamp is blow out. Shall i connect as per diagram (find attachment)

All laser printers use HV without need for shielding SMPS since they use sine boost resonator PS.

Sure use as a HV flash unit for xenon
