Can any1 suggest me how can i send real time images from a camera placed on a robot to my laptop wirelessly so that the images can be read on a on-running matlab code.

There are, really, alot of options. How fast do you need access to these files in matlab? nanoseconds, milliseconds, seconds, minutes, hours, days...?

Is the robot wirelessly operated/monitored or can there be a cable?

Assuming it's all wireless, how far away is the robot? Does the robot already have wireless capabilities? Can it be done by line-of-sight tech like infrared or does it have to be done via RF?
