Hello,
I am trying to implement a cascade controller based on the application note by Texas.

I was wondering how would implement the closed loop response for the system using matlab. My idea was to based my simulation of DC motor from this site.

For the cascade, the inner loop transfer function using proportional is determine for the DC motor and the outer loop PI is applied to it to obtain the cascade transfer function. Is this the correct approach?
