Hi, I need to simulate the the uplink capacity of MIMO per cell by using Monte (by Matlab)Carlo simulations all what I know is the equation which is below and that I have to generate 100 random realizations of user distribution and assume distance dependent path gain as the equation below and I don't know from where I start and how can I assume the distance distribution please help

C=log2 det[I +(p/nt).HH(transpose)] bps/Hz

Hij=1/(1+dij)^(sigma/2)
sigma is the path loss exponent ,it can be 2,3,4
