Hi,
I have an problem to buy the 24LC64 eeprom. I have 24C64 Eeprom.
Can I replace the 24LC64 whit 24C64 in my PIC18F452 design?
Regards

Re: 24LC64 Eeprom.

I think you can replace it with a 24C64 if you have a 5V design and the I2C clock is max. 100kHz.
Please refer to the datasheet: 24LC64 works from 2.5V - 5.5V @ 400kHz, while 24C64 works from 4.5V - 5.5V @ 100kHz

Re: 24LC64 Eeprom.

My design work whit 5 v power suplies.
The 24C64, work at 400 Khz on 5v.

(• Internally Organized 4096 x 8, 8192 x 8
• 2-Wire Serial Interface
• Schmitt Trigger, Filtered Inputs for Noise Suppression
• Bidirectional Data Transfer Protocol
• 100 kHz (1.8V, 2.5V, 2.7V) and 400 kHz (5V) Clock Rate)

I see the Microchip site, the 24c64 is old, not in production. The replacement is 24LC64.
