[SOLVED] can we use pic16f72 instead of PIC16F84 /16F627/627

hi guys can someone tell me can we use pic16f72 instead of PIC16F84 /16F627/627A...i have find 8 channel pwm led project on a website but i don't have PIC16F84 /16F627/627A any of it.. so i have pic16f72 can i use this ?
 

The devices are similar but not identical, provided it has the internal peripherals and enough memory it should work. The software will not be directly transferrable though. If you have the source code, it has to be re-assembled or re-compiled for the new processor.
