Go here: https://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/#TOCdownloading and download the latest release of gsl -The GNU Scientific Library. Be sure to go to the Manual: https://www.gnu.org/software/gsl/manual/gsl-ref_toc.html. The Matrix section will show you how to define a Matrix and do basic operations on them. The Linear Algebra section will show you how to find an inverse and the determinant of a Matrix using LU decomposition. You shouldn't have to write any of this code. You should be able to just link the routines into your executable. The code look pretty straightforward. Good luck

May be you can look through Numeric Receipies section 2.2 - 2.3 - 2.4 Gauss,Lu decomposition with pivoting to minimize the round of error.
