Can L6599N resonant controller directly drive mosfet IRF840 without a gate driver?

Hi,

I am using a L6559N resonant controller IC as shown in fig to produce gate pulses for mosfet IRF840. Is the output voltage of L6599 sufficient to drive the gate of the mosfet or a gate driver circuit should be used in between. If so, kindly suggest what driver I can use. Thank yo Untitled.pngu in advance..
 

One of those questions that can be typically answered by looking at the datasheet. Did you already try?
