Which CAN transiever IC is simple suitable for PIC18F458
Can any one suggest??

I do not remember the Philps ref of a clone

If you like progmamming in Basic or Pascal you can download demo version up to 2k that has support for CAN communication with PIC18Fxx8.

Yes it has CAN module onchip, that performs whole protocol, but you need additional driver circuit to connect it on CAN bus.

I have used the Philips TJA1050 but Texas Ins. and Microchip has also similar CAN Transceivers.
