Can i use BC558PNP bipolar transistor instead of BC558NPN?

I can't find BC558NPN transistor,will it work if i use 558PNP transistor instead?

There's no BC558 NPN transistor. BC558 is always a PNP type. That's why you can't find it.
An NPN type would be for example BC548.
 

Yes, it's PNP. Why do you think, it could be NPN?
