[General] Can DS1307 free memory used to store data permanantly?

Hi..
Im using DS1307 chip for automatic college bell system. Can I use 56 bytes NVRAM memory of DS1307 to store the data like college timings which need not to change again and again...

Yes DS1307 has this special ram area..
56-byte, battery-backed, nonvolatile (NV) RAM for data storage

or use EEPROM if your MCU have some...
Wich MCU ?
