Hi Guys
Can anyone recommend a book on embedded system? I am starting to learn it through "programming embedded systems", but sometime I got confused, can anyone recommend a good one ? I had background in Computer engineer and know some software too!
Thanks
Michael Barr's books are quite good but I do agree the David E. Simon book is good for learning the RTOS basics. Those books help me with my embedded work but now I am trying to look into MISRA C for a coding standard.
Supprise that so far nobody recommend Jean Gareau 's book. I have books from Jack Ganssle and Michael Barr. They are good. But if you want to go beyond driver, IRQ, flash file system, etc., to the next level, you have to have a good understanding of RTOS. uCos-II from Jean Gareau is for sure one of the best: **broken link removed**
