Dear all,

can anyone tell me the classification of diode....

as i am working on 10khz switching.. so i want to rectify 10 khz signal.

so which diode will be better..??

ultrafast or schotty..??

and y..??

Looking forward to hearing you soon..!!

I believe 10KHz is low frequency in switching domain. Voltage also concern for selecting the diode whether ultrafast or Schottky.
I prefer schottky if below 100V ,Advantage: Low voltage drop, Low coat.
Ultrafast having low capacitance and low emi even higher voltage and high frequency.
