while linking i am getting following error

Guess what? count.cpp is a C++ file. Using the -link option together with C++ files is not supported. You just used the -link option together with a C++ file. Q.E.D.

Sometimes error messages actually point to the error. What can you do to not get this error message anymore you ask? Don't use the -link option together with a C++ file one might answer.
