Can a Y capacitor be used as a instead of a ceramic capacitor?

Hi I'm trying to finish a project im working on, and im out of the normal 0.1 nF ceramic capacitors, I have Y2 0.1 nF capacitors, will these do the same job as the ceramic ones?

I know its sounds a bit stupid, but I dont want to risk it!

It depends where the capacitor is used, a type Y capacitor will have too much serial inductance for use at high radio frequencies > 10 MHZ.
