cadence schematics and symbols

Hi,
I've deleted the pins in a schematic. When I return to one level up, and do check and save, the symbol does not automatically update itself and delete off the symbol's pins. Any suggestions ?
Any other web forum that discuss extensively on Cadence tool ?

You should delete the pins from symbol view manually.

hi,

after you deleted a pin from the schematic, you should recreate the symbol. Symbols will not be automatically updated when you change the schematic of it.

can u tell me in detail .. as i am also facing the same problem.. when i am editing any symbol...
its not getting updated in the schematic page...

create cellview->from cellview->modify->delete the pins and save
