Cadence keeps adding instances to selection, by clicking. How to change it?

Hi I don't know why the Cadence environment is configured in this way, but it is very inconvenient. The symptom is:

Why i click any instance in cadence schematic, it is added to the selection. If you keep clicking, all the resistor, cap and transistors are selected.

To de-select, I have to use ctrl+left click.

I know this has something to do with the setup and anyone know how to change it?

Check your bindkey file. If it contains

"Schematics" "None<Btn1Down>" "schAddSelectPt()"

... change it to

"Schematics" "None<Btn1Down>" "schSingleSelectPt()"
