I want to design a basic boost converter with high current (1A) and 5v output , with 1.6 v input. What parameters affect the output current and what should be the R and Cout?
fs=1Mhz, inductor, diode etc i have connected.
Can I increase the output current keeping the Vout=5v and RL=100 ohm,
Thanks

One key factor is resistance in the input stage.

At supply of 1.6 V, your converter will need to draw upwards of 10A peak. This means total resistance cannot be more than 0.1 ohm.

If your output is 1A at 5V, then your load calculates to be 5 ohms.

So, to increase output current is to reduce load or increase output voltage., if i want 1A at output with 100ohm load , i have to increase the ouput voltage by 100V.

Correct, increase it to 100V.
