Hello edaboarders, the boss have just commissioned me a new interesting work.

I have to realize a (low cost) board which drives a LCD TFT display (resolution 480 x 272 rgb, just static images). At the momement we thought to use the RX600 family of Renesas as MCU.

I'd like to receive some advices in the component choice most of all for what concerns the microcontroller; how can I be certain that it suits to my purposes?

Here attached a basic schema

I hope that someone with a bit of experience in the field can give me good advices.
