Bluetooth profiles

hi everyone,

how much tough task is to develop embedded software for bluetooth profiles(A2DP) and Avrcp if protocol stack already exists.\

does we need toet any permisiions from bluetooth SIG for doing this.

does any one working on this....

regards,
vinod kumar....

Have both of you made any progress about this? Any info you got to share since?

you can use the broadcom IC's which have the stack and use it for you application...

@ckshivaram: Thanks. I see you are very interested in wireless communications!

Would you happen to know some useful, but cheap boards/dongles that we can use in our embedded designs?

Something we can buy from eBay, SparkFun or the like.

Local bluetooth dongles comes with a2dp, voice, serial profile feature, not avrcp.... what kind of application? commercial project or student project?

check if the dongle you purchase support AVRCP,, many models claims to have but later dont support.

student project.

Could you check my other thread today please?
