Can anyone please throw some light on the usage of random device address. How it has been generated? Why it is used?

Thanx

Random number (RAND), which is a frequently changing 128-bit random or pseudo-random number that is made by the Bluetooth device software itself. Common input for key generation. All Bluetooth devices have this random number generator.
