just kidding, that depends on what u expect, undergraduate thesis? if so, find one topic that can help u well prepared for graduate school or work, and set up a goal to get it published as one conference paper. My opinion is to select a system level project in stead of focusing on CE algorithm. That is it.
It is an undergraduate thesis, I meant by hot a topic that is under focus in the market place like LTE, WiMAX..etc.
