Hi,

what is the bit banging?? what is the concept of it? How it is effected on SPI and I2C protocols??

can any one explain about it?

Thanks & Regards,
Chandu.Kurapati.

It is very well defined here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bit_banging

eg. for IIC with a mC that has not such peripheral (eg PIC16F84), you implement software IIC (control of levels/timing by software with extra load to mC processing time).
The PIC18F1220 have a hardware IIC (no software with extra load to mC time, is required).
