bilinear resistor emulation

I was wondering if someone knows (or can suggest a paper that shows) how to mathematically derive the equivalent resistance (1/4fC) of a bilinear SC resistor emulation circuit. I had a look at some book e.g. Allen Holberg but that part is left as exercise. I found some explanation in

S. Mir, A. Rueda, T. Olbrich, E. Peral´ıas, and J.L. Huertas. SWITTEST: Automatic
switch-level fault simulation and test evaluation of switched-capacitor
systems. In IEEE 34thDesignAutomationConference, pages 281–286, Anaheim,
USA, June 1997

but cannot understand the general voltage equation on the third page.

Thanks for your help!

I thought I might add the paper I am referring to.

Thanks again!
