Visio 2007 Is the best. Especially if you'd like to draw circuits for papers and reports.

For simple schematics, I advice you to use Visio.
 

I use Electronic Workbench for drawing simple circuit and simulate it.. but somtimes i use proteus..
And DXP Protel 2004 for designing board
 

proteus is also a great software
