Hi everyone,

I am new to the BERT equipment and I would like to know how to use it. I did research on the BERT, and I understand the purpose of it. The Pattern generator use to send known waveform to the DUT. The BERT will display all the possible Tx (from the pattern generator) and Rx (from the error detector?). Since I never use the BERT (Agilent N4903B). I would like to know how to set up. Please let me know how to setup the BERT to a DUT.

I see that there are 13 SMA connector on the patter generator, and there are:
error add
trigger ref clk (out and out negative signal)
aux data (out and out negative signal)
aux in
aux clk out
clk in
clk (out and out negative signal)
data ((out and out negative signal)
delay ctrl in

BTW i don't see my BERT have a error detector module. the above sma is all come from the patter generator. Do I need to have error detector module?

Thanks
