beff and betaeff difference

Hello everyone, when I select a mos transistor of my schematic and print a dc operating
point from ADE L - Virtuoso, in result display window I found beff and
betaeff parameter.
What is beff and betaeff ?
What is the difference between beff and betaeff ?
