Hi,

For my upcoming project i need to get the voltage, current & impedance from the car battery management system. i have some doubts regarding car battery management system.

Is that battery management system is already implemented in the car? and how it is implemented? if any one have clear picture about CAR BMS please share your knowledge at here.

what is the input's and output's for the CAR battery management system and please share if any implementation specification's (or) PDF link for me.

Thanks & Regards,

Use negative cable as a shunt. Make a compensation table related to temperature and go on. Not see any throubles.

Hi EasyRider83,

I didn't understand what are you saying about..................

You have a negative wire from battery to car. Use it like a shunt (current sense). Their resistance have some fluctuations depending from temperature. So you will just need an opamp with negative voltage supply also, two ADC inputs in you MCU and temperature sensor. And after that you will have an voltage and current.
